Product and Project Engineer

Full-time permanent position – 40 hours/week

Location: Saint-Hubert

Relocation planned to Montreal within a 6-month horizon

About the Position

An international company is seeking a structural engineer to join its engineering team. The individual will contribute to the development, design, and certification of products intended for the Quebec and Ontario markets.

Main Responsibilities 1. Product Engineering

• Design products and create associated calculations.
• Produce plans compliant with applicable standards for the Quebec and Ontario markets.
• Validate plans intended for the Quebec market.
• Create manufacturing plans for the workshop.
• 2. Complex Project Engineering
• Assess needs and analyze project scopes.
• Define technical requirements and participate in the preparation of technical proposals.
• Develop solutions tailored to various projects.
• Produce necessary calculations.
• Review technical documentation associated with projects.
• 3. Product Certifications
• Participate in CSA certification processes for marketed products.
• Analyze regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical files.
• Provide technical support and recommendations.

Conditions

• Relocation planned to Montreal within a 6-month horizon
• Hybrid position offered after the probation period.
• Desired Profile
• Degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related discipline.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Experience in structural or mechanical design and calculations.
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Canadian standards (a significant asset).
• Rigorous, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Salary: $80,000 to $110,000 per year
