Your responsibilities as a Service Cashier Supervisor

  • Assist the manager in planning and coordinating department activities to achieve sales and profitability goals set by the director, while respecting the applicable collective agreement.
  • Assist the manager in managing employees.
  • Substitute for the manager when they are absent.
  • Must be able to perform departmental purchases and orders for supplies.
  • Must be able to perform inventories of empty bottles, cigarettes, and lottery.
  • Coordinate department activities to ensure appropriate price changes are made within the prescribed timeframes.
  • Ensure the department's business is in good standing.
  • Authorize refunds following punch errors, process merchandise returns, etc.
  • Responsible for collecting cashier deposits and recording data. Must be able to perform cashier, store, vault, and lottery reconciliations.
  • Must be able to schedule employee work hours.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies (receiving, security, etc.) and hygiene, cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
  • Participate in employee recruitment, training, and evaluation.

Requirements
