Corro-Protec is seeking a Production Supervisor.
The role is responsible for the daily planning of production, supervision of teams on the floor, and rigorous tracking of product traceability.
This is a key and field role, at the heart of operations, in a context of a growing SME. We manufacture products sold throughout North America and Europe. Leader in our market, the company has seen annual growth of over 30% for the past 10 years.
The production team consists of 4 full-time employees and 3 part-time daily workers. The person selected for the Production Supervisor role will directly participate in production operations approximately 30 to 40% of their time. They hold an operational authority position and serve as a reference point for the floor team.
Main Responsibilities
Production Supervision and Management
- Plan production schedules in an automated Excel according to volumes, priorities, and capacities.
- Organize and adjust production sequences to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure active presence on the production floor.
- Participate in production.
- Manage operational surprises and ensure continuity of operations.
Team Supervision and Human Resources Management
- Coach, support, and supervise daily workers.
- Manage absences, delays, replacements, and rotations.
- Apply company rules, procedures, and standards.
- Provide clear feedback and intervene quickly in case of issues.
- Train employees and support their operational development.
Quality Control and Traceability
- Ensure compliance with production quality standards.
- Perform and have quality controls performed.
- Manage non-conformities and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Ensure complete product traceability: batch numbers, production dates, tests, and follow-ups.
- Maintain simple, clear, and reliable documentation.
Performance Tracking and Continuous Improvement
- Track performance indicators: yield, scrap, efficiency, quality.
- Identify losses, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.
- Propose and implement concrete improvements.
- Collaborate with management and other departments on operational issues.
Operational Support
- Provide direct support to floor employees.
- Be the main point of contact for daily production issues.
- Ensure clear communication between production and other teams.
Desired Profile
- Experience in manufacturing production.
- Experience in team supervision on the floor.
- Good understanding of quality control and traceability.
- Natural leadership, capable of making decisions and intervening.
- Autonomy, diligence, and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to manage pressure and priorities.
- Comfortable with Excel and simple tracking tools.
