Accounting Technician

• Perform the complete or partial accounting cycle.
• Process vendor accounts (invoice entry, verification, payments).
• Manage customer accounts (invoicing, collections, tracking of delinquent accounts).
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare and account for journal entries.
• Monitor expenses and general ledger accounts.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• File and archive accounting documents.
• Maintain up-to-date financial files and ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in the improvement of administrative and accounting processes.
• Perform any other tasks related to accounting and administration as needed.
• Prepare and submit government remittances (GST, QST, DAS, etc.) as needed.
• Prepare and process payroll as needed.
• Prepare documents required for year-end and collaborate with external accountants as needed.
• Salary: $43,971.29 to $50,000.00 per year
