We are currently looking for a new member of our evening shift production team as a CNC Operator.
(Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours/week)
Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Monday to
Thursday and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday
Main Functions:
Under the supervision of the CNC foreman, the CNC operator is responsible for machining parts using the numerical control machine.
- Ensure compliance of parts by adhering to production, quality, and safety standards;
- Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the procedure, setups, machining operations to be performed, and the optimal sequence of operations;
- Program and transfer the program into the machine controller;
- Adjust and/or program the required machine;
- Operate, maintain, and service the lathes/milling machines under their responsibility;
- Maintain machine tools and measuring instruments;
- Manufacture tools and/or fixtures necessary for the requested work;
- Ensure compliance with production standards;
- Complete the production sheet and inspection sheet with care;
- Ensure the proper functioning of the CNC;
- Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
- Apply and comply with our quality policy and system rules;
- Any other related tasks.
Knowledge
- Experience in a manufacturing sector (an asset);
- Basic knowledge of reading workshop drawings;
Skills
- Completed or in the process of obtaining the ASP in Numerical Control specialization certification

Requirements
- Education level: DEP - Completed
- Experience: 1 to 2 years
- Languages required: Spoken languages: advanced French
- Written languages: intermediate French
