Accounts Receivable Technician

• Maintain financial records and establish, update, and balance various accounts using manual or computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Post entries to the journal and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
• Responsible for the daily follow-up of payments made by clients.
• Search and validate supporting documents on various customer portals.
• Analyze and process deductions on customer accounts.
• Process and follow up on release of order requests with the relevant services.
• Perform credit inquiries for new clients or as needed operationally.
• Participate in the end-of-month and end-of-year accounting process.
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns and perform other bookkeeping services for individuals.

Skills Required

• College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with the use of multiple customer portals.
• Management and processing of customer discounts and deductions.
• Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and autonomy in information retrieval.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume transaction environment and presenting a high level of operational complexity.
• Bilingualism (English and French spoken and written), given our Canadian and American entity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with an integrated system (SAP, an asset).
