We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of equipment for a variety of industrial sectors. We are currently seeking an organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Parts Clerk / Warehouse Associate to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing parts and inventory while ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality support for our production and service operations.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Parts Clerk / Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and managing inventory, as well as preparing parts and materials required for production and service activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Store, organize, and properly identify parts, tools, and materials.
- Prepare orders for production, service technicians, and customers.
- Maintain inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
- Participate in annual and periodic physical inventory counts.
- Coordinate procurement requests with suppliers as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Use inventory management systems and ERP software to accurately track stock.
- Work closely with the Purchasing, Production, and Service departments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
- Package and ship parts and materials.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or relevant training in logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and purchasing processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
