The inventory coordinator ensures support, planning, and accuracy of inventory operations in line with client needs. They maintain reliable stock visibility, analyze discrepancies, and ensure data integrity to effectively support the logistics operations of an important food sector client representing approximately 9,000 pallets in the food sector.

This is a maternity leave replacement position offering the possibility to continue your career path at Groupe Robert according to available opportunities at the end of the mandate.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

A TASTE OF YOUR UNIVERSE

  • Ensure the accuracy of inventories in the WMS (Manhattan) system and maintain data integrity
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, investigate anomalies, and implement required corrections
  • Act as a resource person for inventory issues and contribute to maintaining reliable stock visibility for the client
  • Participate in physical inventories and empty location validations
  • Produce, analyze, and maintain reports related to inventory and operational performance
  • Coordinate inventory requests and communicate with internal teams and the client
  • Ensure compliance and update transactions between client and warehouse systems
  • Create and maintain documentation necessary for receiving and shipping activities
  • Ensure compliance with food sector quality standards
  • Support operations with various administrative tasks related to inventory management and customer service

WHAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, or distribution
  • Training in logistics, supply chain management, or related field (asset)
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of a WMS or ERP system (Manhattan, an asset)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation
  • Good proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written
