Under the supervision of the workshop coordinator and logistics, Construction Talbon is looking for a shop floor worker to join our team. The worker will be responsible for various tasks, including vehicle and facility maintenance, material and tool preparation, and support for construction site operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect Construction Talbon vehicles before each departure and, if necessary, clear snow from them;
  • Transport vehicles to the garage for repairs when required;
  • Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles;
  • Prepare the necessary materials and tools for different construction sites;
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers;
  • Deliver materials to construction sites and perform various errands for the company;
  • Maintain the general upkeep of Construction Talbon buildings;
  • Maintain parking lots and building entrances, including snow removal during the winter season;
  • Repair defective tools from construction sites when necessary;
  • Inspect safety equipment when required;
  • Participate in the assembly of components for construction sites (formwork accessories, specialized tools, etc.);
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience;
  • Valid general health and safety certificate for construction sites;
  • Ability to travel to various construction sites;
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Forklift and bucket truck training certificate (asset).

  • Monday to Friday

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding manual work, including handling heavy loads;
  • Ability to work standing, indoors, and outdoors, in various weather conditions;
  • Ability to work in a field and workshop environment.
