The incumbent, reporting to the Director of Operational Planning and Performance, plays a key role in driving the organization's operational performance. They act as a strategic link between the BI teams, planning, operations, and other departments of Keolis Canada (HR, Safety, Finance, etc.) to transform data into actionable insights, identify deviations, and support informed decision-making.
The position also aims to secure planning activities by providing ad-hoc support during scheduling production cycles.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze performance indicators to better understand operational issues and identify improvement levers
- Regularly monitor operations, detect deviations, and contribute to their resolution with the relevant teams
- Produce clear analyses to understand the causes of issues and support management decisions
- Propose concrete, measurable, and field-relevant improvement initiatives
- Contribute to financial planning and budget tracking
- Gather, clarify, and structure information needs to facilitate the development of useful and adapted solutions
- Collaborate with data experts to evolve dashboards and make them more relevant to users
- Contribute to the reliability and consistency of data used in analyses and tracking
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency
- Contribute to the implementation of simple and effective data management practices
- Transform analyses into simple, useful, and action-oriented recommendations
- Present results clearly to help teams quickly understand the issues
- Accompany teams in interpreting data and tracking identified actions
- Contribute to the development of a performance, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making culture
- Provide ad-hoc support to planning activities during periods of high activity
- Contribute to the analysis of operational needs and impacts
- Collaborate with planning teams to support the continuity and fluidity of operations
- Work with key teams, including operations, planning, finance, and data experts
- Create bridges between field needs, available analyses, and solutions to be implemented
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, business analytics, statistics, industrial engineering, or a related field; a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered
- 3 to 5 years of experience in performance analysis, data valuation, continuous improvement, or operational analysis
- Experience in an operational environment, such as transportation, logistics, or services, is considered an asset
- Excellent mastery of Excel, including modeling, data consolidation, and advanced analyses
- Good knowledge of data structuring, transformation, or automation tools, such as Power Query or equivalent tools
- Understanding of data visualization environments, such as Power BI or other dashboards
- Interest in using artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve the efficiency of analyses and processes

- Intermediate English required. (Keolis Canada is a company that manages operations for various divisions across Canada). It is essential that the person in the position can communicate in both official languages

JOB TYPE
- Full-time permanent position (40 hours per week)
- Hybrid mode
- A minimum of two (2) days of in-person work is required to ensure positive collaboration between teams
- Job location in Terrebonne
- Work schedule from Monday to Friday
- Mobility: Frequent travel between sites (Lanaudière, Rive-Sud, Montreal, and as needed, Quebec)
