Your Contribution

The Bilingual Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering a harmonious and exceptional client experience during the initial stages of the client onboarding process. The selected candidate must have strong experience in account administration and operations.

Main Responsibilities: 1. Client Onboarding and Documentation

  • Prepare and process client documents, including account opening and transfer requests.
  • Coordinate client onboarding and account opening processes, ensuring the accuracy of entered data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, review, and verify all client documents.
  • Monitor the progress of onboarding and provide proactive follow-up with clients and advisors to resolve issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the wealth management advisor to meet client needs in a timely manner.
  • 2. Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact via phone and email for client inquiries.
  • Create and maintain accurate client files for existing and potential clients in the customer relationship management system.
  • Assist wealth management advisors in providing a positive client experience.
  • 3. Process and Administration Improvement
  • Liaise with the custodian for daily operations-related questions (account opening, initiation, and monitoring of transfers).
  • Identify potential risks or gaps in documentation that may impact client satisfaction or account opening.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of the client onboarding experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the financial advisory services sector.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and report any non-compliance issues to the appropriate level.
  • Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Education

  • University degree with a specialization in business administration, commerce, or finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) both orally and in writing is required.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CFIC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, products, and various administrative processes.
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills.

For this position, your total compensation includes the following:

  • Base salary and discretionary performance bonus: The total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $71,000 to $81,000, depending on your experience and skills.
  • REER Contributions: After six months of employment, we invest in your future by contributing to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), with no requirement for you to contribute.
