The incumbent will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing our clients' green spaces while ensuring the health and sustainability of the plants.

Main Responsibilities

Landscape Design and Maintenance

• Design and implement horticultural landscaping plans
• Select, plant, and maintain a variety of plants, flowers, and trees
• Ensure the health and well-being of vegetation (fertilization, pruning, watering, disease prevention)
• Manage maintenance and upkeep projects for green spaces

Customer Service and Horticultural Advice

• Advise clients on selecting plants suitable for their needs and environment
• Answer client questions and help optimize their landscape designs

Coordination and Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate planting and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure excellent service
• Desired Profile

Requirements

• Good physical condition (outdoor work with carrying loads)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Punctuality, reliability, and positive attitude

Assets

• Horticulture diploma or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of plants, botany, and horticultural practices
• Experience in managing horticultural maintenance projects

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Full-time, seasonal, apprenticeship (contract duration: approximately 8 months)
• Salary: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities
• Scheduled hours: 40 hours per week
• Work location: In-person, Victoriaville
