Job Description AECOM is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor Engineer who is meticulous and motivated to join our team and oversee the monitoring and control of various infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the execution of on-site work, ensuring compliance with quality standards, schedules, and contractual requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor the execution of construction work on-site to ensure compliance with plans, estimates, and applicable standards;
  • Verify the quantities of work completed for the preparation of payment recommendations;
  • Control the quality of materials and work implementation;
  • Ensure rigorous tracking of site directives, non-conformities, and required corrections;
  • Seek relevant technical information for the ongoing project;
  • Actively participate in site meetings with stakeholders (contractors, engineers, clients, etc.);
  • Maintain constant communication with design teams and project managers;
  • Produce daily or weekly work progress reports;
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision;
  • Member of the OIQ;
  • Demonstrated experience in the execution and follow-up of infrastructure projects;
  • Ability to travel for a project located in the South Shore of Montreal;
  • Ability to work according to variable schedules, depending on the progress of the work.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • More than 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in the municipal sector (urban infrastructure, water networks, roads, etc.);
  • Strong autonomy, meticulousness, initiative, and ability to work in a team.
