Role in the Organization

The person holding this position is responsible for analyzing and ensuring the processing of student and candidate admission files, in compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines. Additionally, they accompany candidates in their journey to become a CPA.

Main Responsibilities/Activities

  • Validates all student admission requests, ensuring compliance with the Access to the Profession regulations and the Office québécois de la langue française, participates in resolving complex cases, and ensures file tracking;
  • Processes files related to extension requests, provincial transfers, or reintegration. Coordinates necessary follow-ups with the relevant teams and the Access to the Profession committee to ensure file updates;
  • Guides students and candidates according to the CPA pathway requirements, performs the required follow-ups to ensure their progress, and monitors communications related to file updates;
  • Verifies the compliance of CPA permit application files according to the Regulation on Other Conditions for Permit Issuance and provides support to various internal teams in preparing documents for submission to the management;
  • Examines disputes related to extensions, reintegrations, or litigious cases. Gathers the necessary information, assesses risks, and proposes solutions to the management;
  • Evaluates requests for recognition for the CPA permit, as well as stage completion authorizations and declarations, prepares documentation for the Public Accounting Committee, and ensures appropriate follow-ups;
  • Prepares and routes customized pathway certificates, affiliation forms, and all related correspondence;
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency, including the management of the student and future CPA section on the Order's website; Participates in events organized by the Order, such as the Access to the Profession exams and promotional fairs;
  • Performs any other tasks required within the scope of their duties. The person holding this position must be available for overtime and travel to meet the functions and responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications
