The workplace is in Nunavik and the normal working hours are 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks paid, consisting of 3 weeks of work (77 hours of work per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks of paid rest. Privileges & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the Long Hole Driller will be:
• Perform tasks according to the applicable safety standards (Work Methods, AST in place, and health-safety);
• Execute drilling work in the work sites;
• Inspect equipment before and after the shift;
• If necessary, complete any other tasks requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• DEP in Drilling or experience in a similar position;
• Experience on Sandvik drills;
• Knowledge of the safe operation of drills;
• Hold a valid general explosives permit;
• A valid driver's license is essential, Class 5 license;
• Possess mining modules FMTM 1 to 5 and 7.

Assets

• Certification cards would be an asset;
• Bilingualism (French and functional English).
