We are looking for an Operations and Logistics Director capable of mobilizing teams, optimizing operations, and actively contributing to the development of our organization.

Your role

Reporting to the general management, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, including:

• Warehousing operations;
• Transport and distribution;
• Receiving and shipping;
• Order preparation;
• Inventory management;
• Continuous improvement of operational processes.

You will also be called upon to work closely with the sales, finance, human resources, and information technology teams to ensure flawless execution of operations.

Your main responsibilities

Leadership

• Mobilize, support, and develop managers and their teams.
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.
• Be a present leader on the ground.

Operations Management

• Supervise all daily activities of the various distribution centers.
• Optimize operational processes.
• Standardize best practices.
• Ensure a high level of quality and service.

Transport and Logistics

• Optimize transport and distribution activities.
• Maximize fleet utilization.
• Reduce logistics costs while maintaining an excellent level of service.
• Ensure delivery deadlines are met.

Performance

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze results and implement necessary action plans.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.

Health and Safety

• Promote a strong health and safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at reducing risks.

Financial Management

• Participate in budget preparation.
• Control operating costs.
• Contribute to investment decisions and the profitability of operations.

Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations or logistics management.
• Significant experience in a transport, warehousing, or distribution environment (food industry: an asset).
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in a high-growth environment.
