In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement of various product categories assigned to you. You will ensure the availability of goods in the factory by managing relationships with suppliers, contracts, and purchase orders. You will also participate in the search for new suppliers and in the continuous improvement of the procurement process to ensure top-quality service from our partners.

Your role and impact

  • Purchase goods, products, parts, components, and services required to fulfill contracts, seeking the best overall cost.
  • Analyze needs, volumes, trends, and procurement parameters to plan procurement, meet deadlines, and keep data up-to-date in internal systems.
  • Research, evaluate, and develop suppliers, negotiate prices and procurement terms, and review agreements as needed.
  • Track orders, confirmations, deliveries, and invoices, and resolve discrepancies related to costs, deadlines, compliance, or quality.
  • Proactively identify products, suppliers, or replacement solutions to address unforeseen events, reduce costs, and support operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with project managers and various departments to recommend the most suitable products and solutions for project needs and profitability.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of procurement and vendor management processes to ensure quality service from them.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

What you bring

  • Relevant education:

College or university degree in procurement, supply management, or other relevant field.

  • Hands-on experience:

5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Communication:

Intermediate to advanced French and English, both spoken and written, to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Excellent organization:

Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Tool proficiency:

Knowledge of ERP/MRP software, Microsoft Office suite, and digital tools.

  • Rigorous and proactive profile:

Autonomy, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a constant drive to improve processes.
