Davana Construction is looking for an experienced versatile carpenter-cabinetmaker to join its renovation team.

Your Role

You will participate in the realization of residential and commercial renovation projects in the Montreal area.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing carpentry, cabinetmaking, and finishing work;
• Building and modifying walls, partitions, ceilings, and structures;
• Installing doors, windows, moldings, casings, and finishing elements;
• Installing drywall, subfloors, and coverings;
• Installing cabinets, cupboards, and various cabinetmaking elements;
• Participating in demolition work and preparing work areas;
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and job site directives;
• Taking precise measurements and preparing necessary materials;
• Collaborating with other team members and various trades;
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized job site;
• Informing the foreman of any difficulties, modifications, or unforeseen events encountered.
• The Desired Profile
• We are looking for a person who possesses:
• Several years of experience in renovation, carpentry, or cabinetmaking;
• A good general knowledge of the various stages of a renovation project;
• Great versatility and excellent adaptability;
• The ability to work autonomously;
• A good sense of organization and priorities;
• Concern for detail and quality;
• A professional and respectful attitude towards clients and colleagues;
• A good ability to solve problems encountered on a job site;
• A valid driver's license;
• The basic tools necessary for the practice of the trade.
