  • Your Role

As a Prearrangement Advisor, you will be responsible for developing your client base and guiding families in selecting solutions tailored to their needs, with sensitivity, professionalism, and respect.

  • Actively develop a territory and identify new business opportunities;
  • Prospect potential clients, groups, organizations, and partners;
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts to generate referrals and sales opportunities;
  • Take the initiative to meet potential clients, rather than relying solely on incoming requests;
  • Analyze family needs and propose prearrangement solutions and cemetery products and services;
  • Present and sell cemetery plots, niches, crypts, and dispersion services;
  • Participate in business development activities, such as kiosks, conferences, events, and presentations;
  • Ensure active community presence to promote the company's services;
  • Perform structured follow-ups with potential clients and families;
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to market growth;
  • Keep client files up-to-date and handle administrative follow-ups related to sales.

Required Profile

  • High school diploma (DES);
  • Minimum of two years of experience in sales, business development, or a role with revenue objectives;
  • Experience in the real estate, insurance, financial services, automotive sales, or another commission-based sales environment is a plus;
  • Demonstrated experience in prospecting and client development;
  • Concrete sales results and achievement of objectives;
  • Comfortable working under a performance-based compensation structure;
  • Entrepreneurial, persevering, and action-oriented temperament;
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to quickly build trust;
  • Ability to develop your own market and work with a high level of autonomy;
  • Listening skills, tact, and ability to handle sensitive topics with respect;
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling skills;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is essential;
  • Proficiency in a third language is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and comfort with computer tools;
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle (Required);
  • High mobility across Greater Montreal and surrounding areas.
