As a client service representative in major accounts, you will follow our top-tier training programs and directives to resolve client issues and contribute to their business success. You will work with clients who employ between 50 and 900 people. ADP's reputation for service and customer satisfaction is in your hands.
The nature of your daily activities will not change – your main objective being to help the clients who come to us. However, each day will vary according to the questions you receive and the solutions you propose to clients. Your work will be stimulating, as the questions you receive will be numerous and diverse. What can you expect in a typical day
- Act as a resource person and trusted advisor to clients
- Provide consultations on the use of ADP WorkforceNow's payroll module, ADP's human capital management software solution
- Leverage your extensive expertise to support ADP clients
- Solve problems; identify and provide solutions by conducting root cause analysis and drawing on your communication and analytical skills
- Build networks and relationships
- Build relationships with clients and take advantage of your in-depth knowledge of ADP's products and services to offer solutions and answer questions. Help clients understand the value of our products by exceeding client expectations in all your interactions
- Submit recommendations to ADP management on opportunities to improve best practices, products, and processes based on client feedback or experiences
- Continuously improve your knowledge and skills by taking advantage of the wide variety of resources available to stay up-to-date on relevant laws or legislative decisions that impact clients
- *Required* qualifications *for this position:*
- At least one year of experience in customer service
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education and experience (preferably in business administration and/or human resources management)
- Demonstrated interest in customer satisfaction in a relevant sector or as a payroll/HR specialist, and experience with systems
- Bilingual: French and English
- *Qualifications that are* ASSETS *:*
- At least one year of experience in professional consulting or equivalent experience in client software and system applications and configuration
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and think critically, including in the complex aspects of human capital management (HR, payroll, time, and workforce management, etc.)
- Basic understanding of the payroll processing cycle, from data entry to payroll delivery; payroll compliance specialist title, an asset
- Skills for active listening and strong oral and written communication skills, to receive, interpret, and communicate information clearly and concisely
- Propensity to seek answers, solutions, and ways to achieve positive results for both the client and ADP
- Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner
- Ability to work as a team or independently, demonstrating initiative in the use of support resources and tools
- Candidates in Quebec: ADP Canada operates in Canada and several international markets.
French proficiency (spoken and written) is required for this position.
This position includes responsibilities that require regular use of English, in addition to French. Specifically:
- Regular communication with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, or partners located outside Quebec.
- Collaboration with internal functions or teams based outside Quebec that use English as their primary language of communication.
- Participation in meetings, presentations, and discussions in English with national or international stakeholders.
Due to the responsibilities of the position, English proficiency (oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression) is required, as these responsibilities are essential to the position and cannot be reassigned to another team member. In Quebec, ADP Canada limits positions requiring English and only requests it when necessary for the employee to fulfill their responsibilities.
