POSITION: ELECTROMECHANICAL OR INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC
We are looking for an electromechanical or industrial mechanic on a day shift. Reporting to the Director of Production and Building Maintenance, the electromechanical/mechanical or industrial mechanic is responsible for:
- Working safely and applying health and safety procedures.
- Inspecting and maintaining production equipment according to a schedule (cleaning, lubrication, adjustment);
- Analyzing, identifying, and repairing breakdowns;
- Replacing defective parts to ensure appropriate performance;
- Suggesting equipment and tools to improve productivity;
- Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment;
- Being on call one week out of two on the evening shift from 15:45 to 22:00, Monday to Thursday;
- Maintaining the building (CVAC filter change);
- Inspection tour of utility systems (compressors, CVAC, pumps)
- Maintaining forklifts (ATOUT);
- Performing welding work;
- Keeping the mechanical workshop clean and organized;
- Supporting and assisting production operators as needed
- Any other tasks as assigned.
- General Criteria
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in electromechanical or industrial mechanics
- 5 years of experience and more
- Practical knowledge of welding
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and automation
- Knowledge of a preventive maintenance program is an asset
- Asset - Forklift operator's license
Important asset - Knowledge of the English language to understand machinery-related documentation

Conditions
- Full-time permanent position - 40 hours per week
- Work schedule: day shift (Mon-Thu: 6:30
- AM to 3:45
- PM and
- Fri: 6:30
- AM to 11:30 AM)
- Possibility of overtime
