The purpose of this position

Reporting to the production director and supervisor, the operator is responsible for operating equipment to transform raw materials into finished products. They ensure that the equipment is functioning properly, that it is supplied with quality raw materials, and that the finished products meet the standards detailed in the production reports while maintaining productivity that meets KPIs.

• Operate various equipment in the cannabis transformation and packaging area to produce finished products that meet our customers' requirements;
• Ensure compliance and maintenance of quality system requirements and health and safety regulations;
• Manage the quality of finished products on their production line to meet requirements;
• Perform equipment cleaning in accordance with hygiene standards;
• Participate in production information collection and complete all production reports;
• Demonstrate leadership in relation to the efficiency of their work team, both quantitatively and qualitatively;
• Monitor and communicate effectively with laborers, production associates, and team leaders during shifts, providing important information;
• Apply best practices in cannabis production (BPP);
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.

If no equipment is available to operate, the operator will perform laborer work and may be called upon to provide training to peers.

Job requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related position;
• Ability to work standing up;
• Good manual dexterity and analytical skills;
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of quality;
• Show a good team spirit and ability to work in a team.
