Education

• Certificate or Diploma Tasks

Set up and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures

Inspect maintenance work performed by aircraft mechanics

Check structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and the company's performance and safety standards

Repair and revise to ensure compliance with standards and procedures

Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems

Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems

Repair and revise aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems

Install or modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems, such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, fuel circuits, and pneumatic systems

Prepare detailed reports regarding the repair, control, and certification of aircraft

Disassemble aircraft cells, engines, or other systems to repair, restore, and clean them, and reassemble them

Check the work of aircraft mechanics responsible for modifying aircraft or aircraft mechanical systems to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures

Perform systematic maintenance and report on it

Interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions Competency Titles (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) MEA «M» License – Aircraft Selection Questions
