The Position

We are looking for a motivated, customer-service-oriented individual with a strategic mindset to join our retail sales team as a Store Assistant Manager at our brand new flagship store in Montreal. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will support all aspects of store operations, assist in leading the Cozey Ambassadors team, and ensure we provide an exceptional in-store experience. • Your Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and team performance.
• Provide on-the-ground coaching and advice to Cozey Ambassadors to ensure an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and follow-ups with the team.
• Ensure team members complete product knowledge training before launches.

Sales and Customer Experience

• Interact with customers, offer product recommendations, assist with orders, and process transactions.
• Support Shopify and POS operations, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
• Assist in tracking and communicating sales performance indicators (KPIs).
• Guide Cozey Ambassadors in customer management: collect customer data and emails, and generate 5-star reviews.
• Support the Store Manager in finding agile ways to achieve sales KPIs and motivate the team.

Store Operations and Inventory

• Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are followed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Monitor product displays and assist with presentation changes upon the arrival of new products.
• Manage order backorders and track order drafts.
• Coordinate surplus inventory returns to the warehouse and maintain supply inventory.

Your Profile

• 2 to 4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Bilingual (English and French).
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and collaborate with a team.
• Adaptability, organizational skills, and problem-solving orientation in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role (standing, walking, lifting light loads).
• Experience with Shopify and Shopify POS, an asset.
