Work mode: The work will be performed in a hybrid mode (remote work and in-person at the office) with a maximum of two days per week in remote work, according to the Framework Policy on Remote Work. The details will be determined at the time of the final selection of the chosen person.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows
- Plan and prepare the schedule of hearings, taking into account the availability of the mediators;
- Plan and book hearing rooms in the region for the hearings;
- Communicate with the parties to determine a hearing date;
- Send the summons to the parties;
- Follow up on hearings with the team leader to inform them on the progress of the files that need to proceed (e.g., settlement, request for postponement, etc.), and do the necessary follow-ups with the mediators and the parties;
- Enter the information on the progress of the files (settlement, withdrawal, postponement, suspension, etc.) into the computer system;
- Process the requests for postponement administratively, in accordance with the applicable guidelines;
- Inform the mediator and the parties about the cancellation or postponement of a hearing;
- Receive and manage the documentary evidence submitted by the parties before the hearing;
- Process the appeals for the TAT and ensure the compliance of the complaints before transmitting them;
- Follow up on files with cumulative appeals and pending or inactive files (RSG, COVID collective complaint, waiting, TAT decision, etc.);
- Support for Mediation-Decision and Management;
- Provide support to the mediators and the management team in the processing of files and respond to specific requests, including: obtain the requested information and documents;
- Perform legal research;
- Produce statistical data for the purpose of monitoring the results of the service;
- Carry out activities of vigilance on the outcome of the decisions of the M-D contested at the TAT (vigilance);
- Request the necessary documents when needed.
- Salary scale: $49,237 to $69,089
*The salary scale indicated for the position to be filled takes into account the salary adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 2026. Note that the salary adjustment will not be paid at the time of hiring, but within 180 days following April 20, 2026, and retroactively to the hiring date or March 31, 2026.*

Education
You hold a college diploma (DEC) in legal techniques.
The application of a person who is in the process of completing the final year of studies required for the acquisition of the required diploma may be considered.
Each missing year of education can be compensated by one year of relevant post-secondary education of equal or higher level than that required. A person who holds a non-relevant college diploma (DEC) combined with one year of relevant post-secondary education may also be admitted.
IMPORTANT:
After submitting your application, you must deposit a copy of your diplomas or transcripts in the « Proof of qualifications » section.
Education outside Canada
If your education was completed outside Canada, you must hold a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration at the time of applying for the position so that your file can be analyzed.
The MIFI comparative evaluation is the only document recognized for our jobs. If you hold your document, please indicate it in your registration form, at the corresponding diploma.
IMPORTANT:
At the time of your registration, you must deposit a copy of the comparative evaluation of the studies carried out outside Canada.
Citizenship
You possess Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the federal authority competent to occupy a position in the public service of Quebec.
If you are waiting for the proof of your permanent resident status or a work permit, you can submit your application to the present selection process. However, if you are the selected person, you must have received your authorization to work legally in Canada at the time of your appointment.
French knowledge
You possess appropriate French knowledge for the functions.

The person in question must have a particularly high level of concentration and attention when preparing the schedule of hearings, as an error can have an impact on the conduct of the hearing. She/he must ensure at all times the confidentiality of the information and documents that pass through the office.
