As a foreman, you will oversee on-site production activities, ensuring planning, effective execution of daily operations, work quality, and team management. You will develop and communicate action plans, track tasks, propose solutions to operational obstacles, and actively participate in production meetings. You will also be responsible for probationary end evaluations, employee skill development, compliance with safety standards (SST), and disciplinary management in collaboration with human resources and management. Your role will be crucial in achieving performance goals and continuous process improvement.

Compensation

  • From $90,000 to $95,000 per year
  • Evening premium (+$2.00/h) and weekend premium (+$2.50/h)
  • Overtime paid at double rate

Working Hours

  • Day shift: 4 days a week x 10 hours
  • Evening shift: 4 days a week x 10 hours
  • Weekend shift: 3 days a week x 12 hours

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a specialized trade (industrial mechanics, electricity, welding-assembly, etc.);
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in managing unionized personnel;
  • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Upon request, successful completion of the investigation process and obtaining the required safety certification under the Federal Contract Security Program.
