Reporting to the Store Manager, your primary objective as an Assistant Manager is to assist the Manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring leadership that optimizes sales results. You foster a positive shopping experience for every customer while leading and inspiring a highly performing team to generate operational efficiency and sales traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. You play a crucial role in the daily operations of the store. You contribute to inventory management optimization, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while maintaining brand and visual/merchandising standards and store directives.
You also contribute to stock management by processing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, and processing e-commerce orders. You are an integral part of your store's success! Qualifications:
- High school diploma; post-secondary studies in business or a related field, an asset
- 2 years of experience in management, preferably in the apparel fashion industry, or equivalent management experience
- Passion for fashion and customer orientation
- Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Show flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency to identify and respond in a constantly evolving work environment, providing ideas and solutions that will have an impact
- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multi-project skills
- Establish partnerships and prioritize collaboration
- Proficiency with social media, mobile devices, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), or Open-Office
- Available to work in a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) as needed for business needs
