Fire Alarm Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team!

As a Service Technician, you will primarily handle service calls on fire alarm systems. You will be required to make multiple trips throughout the day using the company-provided vehicle to visit our clients in the Greater Montreal area and resolve the issues for which they call us. Being comfortable with programming Mircom systems and monitoring centers is an asset for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve simple or complex issues on fire alarm systems of all brands,
  • Communicate service modalities to the client,
  • Properly inform the dispatch responsible person of the situations,
  • Make quick and safe trips to clients.
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in fire alarms (minimum 3 years),
  • Solid knowledge in troubleshooting,
  • Knowledge in Mircom system programming
  • Knowledge in surveillance center/camera and access system
  • Valid driver's license,
  • BSP card (an asset),
  • In-depth knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems,
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Compensation: $25.00 to $48.00 per hour
  • Location: On-site
