The Physical Security Service at Revenu Québec is a team of over 20 people who ensure a secure work environment for all staff every day. In collaboration with the Real Estate Project Management Service, this team implements organizational directives related to physical security, emergency measures, and business continuity.
By working within this team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to tackle stimulating challenges, such as defining new security orientations, adopting new procedures, or implementing a security-related IT platform.
Teamwork, agility, and ethical sense are fundamental principles that will guide your daily work.
Your daily work at Revenu Québec
As an access control technician, you will be responsible for: controlling the issuance and retrieval of all access cards and passes, as well as metal keys and other devices used to secure access to Revenu Québec's various facilities and buildings; accompanying security officers in regional offices by providing training, technical support, and documentation on security systems; performing necessary checks during new staff onboarding; processing security guard requests, tracking hours worked, compiling information in software and registers, and finalizing billing operations; monitoring daily security reports and registers, and reporting any irregularities to the responsible person; participating in security-related assignments and providing support to security advisors and consultants.

Requirements
- To join our team, you must have:
either a college diploma (technical training) or equivalent, or be in the process of completing your final year of college studies in one of the following fields or any other relevant field: administration, computer science; or a college diploma (technical training) in any other field with at least one year of relevant experience.
The following could be considered assets:
experience in the security or intervention fields;
knowledge of analysis, research, and project management methods.
Additional information
You must have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid work permit in Canada.
If you obtained your diploma outside of Canada, you must attach a copy of the comparative study evaluation issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration to your online application. Note that if you do not provide this document when completing your application, you will not be able to submit your candidacy.
