Accounting Technician

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Corbujo Operations is seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team. We assist companies and investors in managing their finances, tax compliance, and strategic decisions with a focus on efficiency, rigor, and profitability. We are looking for an organized, reliable, and proactive individual who wants to contribute concretely to the financial well-being of our clients.

Salary: $60K to $70K per year

Hours: Full-time permanent position - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Location: Coaticook - Hybrid remote work (2 days in the office)

Start date: As soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain the books of various client files
• Manage payroll
• Track expenses and account for depreciation
• Prepare compilation mission files, including the receipt and corroboration of documents
• Produce corporate income tax returns (T2 and CO17)
• Participate in the issuance of compilations
• Contribute to examination and audit missions
• Ensure rigorous and structured follow-up of a client portfolio.
• Desired profile:
• Excellent French and intermediate English skills
• Significant experience in a similar position, minimum 4 years
• Experience required to master Canadian accounting standards
• Great autonomy and good organizational sense
• Ability to manage multiple files at once
• Rigor, reliability, and professionalism.

Requirements

• DEC, DEC or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Very good mastery of QuickBooks
• Knowledge of TaxCycle, an asset.
• Experience with CaseWare for financial statements, an asset.
• Knowledge of Suite Logis, an asset.
• Excellent mastery of the Employer D platform
• Good mastery of end-of-year accounting and client files.
• Compensation: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
