Main Responsibilities
Bilingual Account Transfers Operations Representative will be a valuable addition to FCC's Operations department. You will begin working in either the Account Transfers team:
- The *Account Transfers team* is responsible for both the Transfer-ins of Assets into FCC but also for Transfer-outs of assets leaving our firm. You would become familiar with our electronic deliveries (ATON) and also our manual way of exchanging documents (non-ATON). As part of transfers, you will review forms, initiate transfers, follow-up with institutions on statuses while keeping our clients up to date.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- You have between 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the financial services sector.
- Bilingualism in both spoken and written (English and French).
- Knowledge of different types of accounts, such as unregistered accounts (cash, margin, joint, etc.) and registered accounts (REER, CELI, REEE, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Assets
- Knowledge or experience in the brokerage sector.
- Successful completion of a financial services course (e.g., CCVM) or enrollment in such a course.
