  • Your Challenges:
  • Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
  • Provide recommendations on design and repair concepts for aircraft structures
  • Develop fatigue spectra
  • Validate damage tolerance analyses with experimental results
  • Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with technical publication and maintenance engineering groups.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, ensure compliance with the methodology and technical requirements of the program
  • Review supplier reports and analyses
  • Prepare certification reports

Your Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • You have at least five (5) years of experience in structural stress analysis, primarily as a fatigue and damage tolerance specialist for aircraft
  • Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office, and Google Suite is mandatory
  • Previous experience working on an aircraft development or support program, including certification, would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of non-destructive inspection (NDT) techniques would be an asset
  • You have a keen sense of responsibility, integrity, and are a team player
  • You have good communication skills
  • You must be able to read and communicate in French and English
