Role Overview
The selected resource supports phone calls, emails, forms, and other inputs for the opening and documentation of incidents and service requests. They resolve incidents following established procedures and handle service requests. They must also direct incidents and service requests that cannot be handled by these teams to the relevant teams based on the nature of the request and its complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Open, close, and track tickets via the ticketing tool;
- Understand the user's needs and guide them in their request;
- Understand how the Ministry's video conferencing system is structured at the component level;
- Consult the codec management console (TMS) or Microsoft's console (CQD) to diagnose a problem associated with video conferencing or the video conferencing system;
- Effectively guide the user in resolving the (issues) by assigning tasks to nearby IT technicians or audiovisual technicians.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a college diploma (AEC) in computer science or equivalent.
- Possess one (1) year of experience in audiovisual environment support and video conferencing.
- Possess one (1) year of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Possess one (1) year of experience in environments such as Cisco, video conferencing (codecs) platform MXP C, EX, SX, DX.
- Possess one (1) year of experience with products such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Symetrix, Bi-Amp, QSC Q-SYS, Peavey NION, Cisco, MS Teams, Clock Audio, or SVSI.
