About the Position

The Senior Operations Finance Analyst acts as a financial business partner to the operational teams and plant management. He supports decision-making by providing financial and operational analyses related to manufacturing performance, raw material yields, production costs, and site profitability.

Through his expertise, he contributes to the identification of improvement opportunities, the optimization of operations, and the achievement of the plant's financial objectives. He also participates in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial closing, and the development of tools aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of management information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a financial business partner to the production teams and site management.
  • Analyze raw material yields, manufacturing costs, and performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze standard costs, manufacturing variances, savings, inventories, and margins.
  • Evaluate the financial impacts of projects, new products, and business opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and site profitability analyses.
  • Develop and maintain the tools and models necessary for financial performance planning and tracking.
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes, management tools, and the quality of financial and operational data.
  • Participate in audits and special projects related to site performance.
  • Support department managers in the preparation and tracking of action plans aimed at improving operational performance.

What You Will Bring

  • University degree in business administration (accounting or finance specialization)
  • Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, an asset
  • At least five years of experience in a management accounting or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food processing industry, an asset

Compensation:

In line with our commitment to equity, trust, and transparency, and our ambition to be a top employer, the base salary range for this position is between $78,600 and $98,300+.

Note: In addition to a complete set of benefits, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.

Pay: $78,600.00-$98,300.00 per year
