Do you want to play a key role in managing financial and material resources?
Actively contribute to the planning, preparation, control, and monitoring of operating budgets (BF) and capital investment programs (PDI). Participate in the design and implementation of effective management tools to optimize decision-making regarding financial and material resources.
The administrative services section team of the Rolling Stock and Workshops Service (SMRA) is looking for an engaged person to support managers in planning and optimizing resources, ensuring compliance with standards and the accuracy of financial information.
The SMRA ensures the availability and reliability of vehicles and various specialized services and products, tailored to the needs of boroughs and units, in an eco-responsible and safe work environment.
Your Mandate

In your role, you optimize resources and support your unit's managers. You guide the division in adopting best practices in resource management to improve processes. Your expertise facilitates the work of operational teams through quick and effective interventions, ensuring operational efficiency and quality service. Additionally, you provide support regarding budgetary changes, tracking actual spending, and managing financial risks.
This position highlights your organizational skills in tracking resources. You play a key role in promoting change adherence and recommending standards and procedures. Relationally, you coordinate the work of support staff and participate in routine activities. Day-to-day, you work closely with your colleagues. If you enjoy teamwork, you're in the right place!

More specifically, you:
- Conduct analyses to optimize resources, manage budgetary operations for various projects funded by the operating budget (BF) and the Decennial Capital Investment Program (PDI), advise and recommend Service managers;
- With your colleagues, perform preparatory work for the management of the operating budget (BF) and investment projects (PDI), ensure control over the preparation and management of various budgets, and conduct rigorous tracking of consumption and invoices for all Service framework agreements;
- Plan and supervise the optimal use of operating budgets in collaboration with managers;
- Design and implement methods and procedures for controlling financial and material resources;
- Ensure compliance with established norms, policies, programs, directives, and procedures related to financial, material, and contractual resource management, and disseminate this information to managers and other stakeholders concerned.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business administration, or another relevant field
- 2 years of experience related to the responsibilities of the position, specifically in the field of financial or budgetary and material resource management
- Knowledge of administrative frameworks, business processes, integrated management systems, and associated software, as well as computer tools: Excel (advanced level), Qlik Sense, Microsoft suite, and applications such as Simon (receipts, purchase requests), GDF, desirable
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, an asset
