40-hour compressed work week

• Available on the day shift – Monday to Friday, as follows:

Regular 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday) or 4-day workweek of 10 hours (Monday to Thursday).

Several schedules are possible, offering flexibility on start times (between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM) and end of shift.

• Available on the evening shift – Monday to Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM.
• Salary scale between $25.88/h and $36.43/h and evening shift premium of $1.75/h;

Contribute to this role includes

• Obtain appropriate supplies to perform the work according to the tasks to be performed and project requirements;
• Perform masking according to shop drawings;
• Mix the coating product with the recommended paint ratio by the manufacturer and add the appropriate solvent. Obtain the right viscosity;
• Paint steel pieces according to the project coating instructions;
• Adjust pressure and choose the appropriate spraying equipment;
• Environmental parameter control as needed;
• Follow and complete the route sheet, call the inspector when an inspection point is identified;
• When indicated, perform corrections (retouches) and repairs;
• Inform the foreman of problems, defects, necessary corrections or non-conformities;
• Complete the coating product declaration form;
• Follow the surface coating procedure and use the appropriate forms;
• Comply with the corporate quality management system requirements (Quality Management Manual, Work Instructions and applicable form);
• Apply industry best practices and effective methods to ensure the improvement of our operational performance;
• Any other related task.

• Languages spoken and written: French and English (asset);
• Technical knowledge: Overhead crane and steel domain;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Adaptation, autonomy, manual dexterity, initiative and dynamism;
• Sense of organization, analysis and responsibilities.
