About the position

The Senior Insurance Practices Analyst will be responsible for designing and updating best practices, quality control, and processes in personal property damage insurance. They will support mutuals in understanding and guiding them through changes affecting subscription or products.

Main Responsibilities

• Taking charge of initiatives arising from the work of the management in relation to insurance practices
• Identifying and analyzing the operational impacts resulting from improvements to standards and products and recommending the practices to be adopted
• Developing and updating the guide on best practices and processes surrounding improvements coming from the management
• Collaborating with standards and products analysts and/or business solutions advisors to establish the best working method following a change impacting users in mutuals
• Planning, organizing, and conducting qualitative audits on insurance activities or organizational processes
• Writing detailed, clear, and structured audit reports, including findings, risks, impacts, and recommendations
• Designing and communicating various insurance content arising from the activities of the management
• Participating in working groups and writing arguments for various committees
• Training new management analysts on the policy system (OGP) and participating in the coordination of a new analyst's training plan
• Collaborating on the update of standards and products in personal property damage insurance
• Acting as an expert in content in the development of new insurance products
• Supporting the operational team in risk analysis in the service-advisory to mutual companies
• Collaborating on the writing of articles for publications or journals (website, TV, etc.)
• Performing or validating the translation of standards or various documents

Requirements and Competencies Sought

• Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Insurance and Financial Services Counseling
• Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in property damage insurance
• Excellent mastery of French (both oral and written)
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent ability to take charge

• Hold the PAA or FPAA title
