At the Dolbeau plant, we are proud of our 170 employees. Our paper machine, with an annual production capacity of 144,000 metric tons, produces various types of paper (newspaper, circulars, books, high-brightness paper, thin paper, etc.) from 100% wood chip thermomechanical pulp. We also have a biomass thermal power plant that generates an average of 25 megawatts per day, enough to power approximately 12,500 households.

Our facility is looking for qualified individuals to fill an Industrial Mechanic position. This is a permanent full-time position.

Your Challenges

• Support and apply the company's values in health and safety, quality, environment, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies;
• Perform repairs and maintenance of various equipment in the plant;
• Make recommendations for regular maintenance or continuous improvement of machinery to ensure proper operation or improve equipment reliability;
• Keep and maintain your work environment clean and safe;
• Apply required procedures in health and safety, environment, and according to ISO standards.

Your Skills

• Recognized as a safe person who makes no compromises on safety;
• Interest in the industrial environment and good problem-solving skills;
• Recognized interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
• Availability for on-call hours (evenings and weekends on a rotating basis).

Your Profile

• Hold a DEP in industrial mechanics or a related field;
• Experience working in a manufacturing sector (an asset).

Our Offer

• Base salary of $35.66 (apprentice) to $45.40, depending on experience;
• Day shift from Monday to Friday;
• Regular 40-hour workweek;
• On-call hours on a rotating basis with on-call premium;
• Performance bonus up to $2,000 per year;
• Paid overtime at time and a half;
