The daily worker packer role is described as follows: Tasks:

• Package products of different shapes and sizes in a logical and secure manner according to standards and norms;
• Prepare products to be packaged such as poles and slides using pneumatic tools; Receive materials, raw materials, returns, etc;
• Check the contents of contracts and the quantities of pieces to be shipped;
• Securely and optimally package the pieces to be shipped;
• Safely use the different specific pneumatic tools for Packaging;
• Prepare items to be shipped such as poles and slides;
• Identify the merchandise by affixing order numbers;
• Maintain and order the department;
• Ensure the physical inventory tracking of raw materials related to his department;
• Respect the established policies and procedures regarding packaging and breakage.
• Respect the established health and safety at work guidelines by the organization.

Requirements related to the function

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience directly related to the field
• Basic knowledge of computer systems
• Capable of correctly manipulating the different types of forklifts used
• Valid forklift operator card

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: Starting at $20.57 per hour
