We are currently looking for a Planning and Procurement Manager to join our team in Mirabel.

Your Role

Reporting to the director, you will be responsible for the integrated planning of operations (PIC/PDP), procurement, and the management of planning and procurement teams. You will play a strategic role in optimizing operations, supply chain performance, and achieving production goals.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the PIC/PDP process by integrating customer demand into operations planning;
  • Supervise procurement to support production activities and achieve site goals;
  • Manage planning and procurement teams;
  • Standardize work methods in line with group practices;
  • Define, implement, and ensure compliance with ERP parameterization rules for supply chain activities;
  • Support operations in analyzing machine loads and global capacities;
  • Analyze the impacts of orders on components, resources, and production capacities;
  • Assess the capacity of business units to determine the resources needed to achieve the production plan;
  • Develop medium- and long-term master production plans;
  • Develop and track performance indicators (KPIs) in line with corporate objectives;
  • Support operations managers as required;
  • Analyze the application of the master production plan according to workforce, inventory, and maintenance objectives;
  • Collaborate with program, production, and operations teams to track performance;
  • Identify performance gaps, operational issues, and recommend corrective actions;
  • Participate in capacity analyses during bid calls to confirm project feasibility;
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process;
  • Lead machine load optimization projects;
  • Analyze financial, quality, and delivery indicators to improve overall performance;
  • Adhere to company values, ethics code, and health and safety policies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, production operations management (GOP), mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or any other equivalent degree.

Experience

  • Two (2) years of experience in a similar position or experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in team management (a significant asset).
  • Experience with the Great Plains ERP system.
