Function:
Responsible for performing hair styling tasks in collaboration with various participants to meet production needs.
- Designs, prepares, and performs various hairstyles and haircuts, considering the era, style, type of filming, and objectives sought to meet production needs;
- Adapts hairstyles according to circumstances (such as role requirements, natural features of the person, costumes or planned attire, ambient lighting) to meet production needs;
- Harmonizes hairstyles with costumes to meet production needs;
- Adapts, styles, and positions wigs, beards, mustaches, and sideburns, considering the era, style, and objectives sought to meet production needs;
- Modifies and retouches hairstyles during rehearsals, show recordings, and other presentations;
- Maintains wigs, wigs, and accessories, and keeps an inventory; reports;
- Evaluates repairs of wigs, wigs, and accessories and submits for approval; follows up;
- Performs touch-ups as needed during rehearsals, show recordings, and other presentations;
- Maintains inventory of hair products and accessories and ensures, according to established procedure, their replenishment to avoid running out of materials during assignments;
- Ensures continuity using photographs or other media;
- Conducts research on hair products; evaluates new products and reports;
- Establishes and submits, if needed, cost estimates for hair products;
- Assists, upon request, at planning or production meetings;
- Purchases, upon delegation, necessary hair products;
- Reports any breaks or defects in products, accessories, or equipment to concerned parties;
- Completes appropriate forms and documents; verbally or in writing communicates required information to ensure necessary follow-ups and inform concerned parties;
- Familiarizes other employees with their tasks and work environment;
- Performs, if needed, all or part of tasks belonging to any other job class within an equivalent or lower salary group, as well as other related tasks.
Please note that this is an additional position and requires full-time on-site presence.
Job Requirements
- Education: Professional studies diploma in hairdressing or relevant diploma;
- Experience: Two (2) years are required to perform tasks satisfactorily.
The skills and knowledge of candidates may be subject to testing.
