Section A: Key Responsibilities

Certified Audits

  • Conduct internal audits as a certified auditor or auditee, in accordance with established audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead comprehensive audits to assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, industry standards, and regulatory directives.
  • Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and formulate improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to correct identified non-conformities and ensure the closure of audit findings within specified timeframes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of audit plans and schedules.

Corrective Action Reports (CARs)

  • Support the closure of corrective action reports (CARs) by working closely with stakeholders to resolve raised issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to address non-conformities.
  • Monitor and track the progress of CAR closure, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.
  • Document all activities related to CARs, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.

Quality Management Problem Resolution

  • Collaborate with the national director of Compliance and Quality Assurance to resolve quality management issues.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Contribute to the production of reports on quality management trends and process issues to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in investigations related to quality control failures and ensure accurate and complete data collection for trend analysis.

Training and Compliance

  • Assist in conducting training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of quality program requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and support to various services regarding quality management training needs.
  • Ensure that managers and staff are kept informed of regulatory requirements within quality programs.

File Maintenance and Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files on audit activities, corrective actions, and any other documentation related to the quality program.
  • Manage databases and information systems to support audit findings, CAR closure, and trend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.

External Audits and Certification

  • Support external audit activities, including coordinating with external auditors, providing required documentation, and participating in on-site audits.
  • Participate in the preparation of materials and responses for external audits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with certification requirements and industry standards.

Process Improvement and Updates

  • Review quality program processes and recommend updates based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and ensure adherence to established procedures.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Hold regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate audit findings, CAR closure progress, and updates on quality program initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication documents as needed.

Safety and Compliance

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety principles and practices.
  • Serve as a liaison with the internal health and safety community to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
  • Participate in the annual emergency response manual training.
