Registered Nurse (BScN or DEC) – Private Clinic

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and autonomous Registered Nurse with a BScN or DEC to join our growing private medical and aesthetic clinic in Brossard.

You will work primarily in tandem with the physician to provide efficient patient care and ensure appropriate clinical follow-up. This is a fully clinical position and does not include reception duties.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide nursing follow-up for patients with chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia;
• Assess patients’ clinical conditions and provide appropriate education and counselling;
• Apply approved collective prescriptions and clinical protocols;
• Assist with the follow-up of laboratory, imaging, and other test results in collaboration with the physician;
• Communicate results to patients and complete the required follow-ups according to established directives;
• Prepare and assist the physician with selected procedures;
• Perform specimen collection, injections, wound care, and other nursing activities within the RN scope of practice;
• Accurately document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record;
• Collaborate closely with the physician to ensure continuity and quality of care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active membership in good standing with the OIIQ;
• DEC or bachelor’s degree in nursing;
• Experience in primary care or an outpatient medical clinic;
• Strong clinical judgment, autonomy, organizational skills, and professionalism;
• Fluency in French and English to serve our French- and English-speaking patients;
• Comfort with electronic medical records and clinical technology.
• ASSETS
• Training or experience in IUD insertion;
• Experience performing cervical screening specimens, including HPV/Pap testing;
• Training or experience in Nexplanon insertion and removal;
• Experience with collective prescriptions and chronic disease management;
• Knowledge of the MYLE electronic medical record;
• Previous private-clinic experience.
• SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary: $35–$50 per hour, depending on education, experience, and clinical skills.
