Youth Prevention Agent

Rebond is a program offered to high schools to provide support to students who, for various reasons, are temporarily excluded from their school. Under the supervision of the Youth Coordination and in direct collaboration with the high schools of the Montreal School Board, the candidate will have the primary mandate of developing and consolidating the Rebond program and ensuring its proper functioning. The challenge we propose to you

• Intervene individually and in groups with secondary-level students in conflict with their school environment. Intervene in a context of helping relationship.
• Provide homework support in basic academic subjects.
• Animate reflection workshops.
• Maintain privileged links with partner high schools.
• Administer and write reports, balances, and representations.
• Develop an intervention approach in line with the program's established objectives.
• Adhere to the YMCA policies and procedures governing the protection of children and vulnerable persons.
• Understand and integrate the value of philanthropy within their position and within the Association, and participate in fundraising activities/events.

The person we are looking for should

• Hold a college diploma (technical) in a field related to intervention.
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in intervention, specifically with a 12-17-year-old clientele.
• Master French both orally and in writing.
• Have no judicial restrictions related to the job.
