Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager plays a central role in organizing and evolving HR practices. The person holding this position contributes to structuring, developing, and implementing HR initiatives while ensuring an engaging, consistent, and values-aligned employee experience.
They actively contribute to building a high-performing, human, and engaged work environment by anticipating organizational needs and supporting managers in their HR-related challenges.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the complete staffing cycle, from candidate analysis to interviews, selection, and hiring;
- Manage the employee lifecycle post-hiring, act as a point of contact for HR needs, handle absences and sick leaves, and conduct exit interviews;
- Develop and deploy market-adapted recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs;
- Support managers in workforce planning and identifying needs;
- Manage the complete payroll cycle, including annual reports and declarations, as well as group insurance, employee benefits, and leave tracking;
- Ensure rigorous and structured onboarding of new employees;
- Follow up on the training plan in collaboration with managers and ensure its implementation;
- Ensure that training requirements are met and that mandatory and corporate training is completed;
- Collaborate with managers to develop employee skills;
- Actively monitor daily employee experience, including workplace climate vigilance, employee survey analysis, and collaboration with managers to maintain a healthy, engaging, and high-performing work environment;
- Plan, implement, and follow up on recognition initiatives to value employees and support their engagement;
- Manage and plan the SST committee, ensure the implementation and compliance of prevention programs, follow up on workplace accident files, and promote a health and safety culture within the organization;
- Implement, optimize, and use HR systems, improve administrative and operational processes, and ensure rigorous tracking of HR indicators and organizational data;
- Operational support for department heads.
Skills & Qualities
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant HR experience, including payroll responsibilities, ideally in a hotel environment, is required;
- University degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, or a related field, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required;
- Motivational leadership, human approach, and excellent relational skills, with a strong team spirit and ability to create a trusting atmosphere;
- Autonomy, organization, and dynamism, combined with proactivity and the ability to positively influence and foster team cohesion;
- Knowledge and application of labor standards and basic health and safety principles.
