Our client (not HQ) is involved in a project related to the refurbishment of turbine-generator sets at the Beauharnois power plant and is currently seeking a professional in OHS with experience in this type of environment.
Initial Information
- Start date: August 31
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 10 hours per day
- Location: Beauharnois power plant – On-site work
- Duration of mandate: approx. 9 months
- Preference for a self-employed worker, but an employee can also be considered.
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in occupational health and safety.
- CoSS designation would be an asset, but not mandatory.
- 10 or more years of experience in similar environments.
- Knowledge of the construction domain.
- In-depth knowledge of OHS laws and regulations.
- Must possess strong leadership and influence skills, as well as excellent interpersonal relationship maintenance abilities.
- Good skills in effectively communicating and coordinating various OHS activities.
- Must hold a valid ASP construction card and a valid driver's license.
- Important knowledge of critical hazards is expected (e.g., work at height, energy sources, moving vehicles, lifting operations, etc.). Training related to Hydro Electric particularities is also an asset.
- Must possess technological skills and abilities to capture daily information and master Office 365 tools (Teams, Outlook).
