Concierge (Jack of all trades, maintenance, cleaning)

Under the supervision of the administrative manager, your mandate will be:

• to plan, organize, supervise, control, and evaluate all maintenance, repair, hygiene, and sanitation activities of buildings and equipment in compliance with the company's guidelines to ensure the well-being and safety of users, workers, and visitors;
• to perform preventive maintenance of buildings and equipment;
• to perform repair work as needed;
• to coordinate the intervention of tradespeople as needed;
• to support the maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation team to participate in maintaining and improving the quality and safety of the services and care offered;
• to participate in the sound management of the resource;

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respect the mission, vision, approach, and values of the resource: gather, listen, help, motivate, users, and employees, and repeat;
• Perform weekly preventive maintenance work according to the quarterly program;
• Perform urgent maintenance and repair work or work that has been the subject of a work order;
• Plan and perform corrective work following inspections;
• Coordinate with professionals the required plumbing and electrical work;
• Perform quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly inspections of buildings and equipment;
• Ensure the control and maintenance of records;
• Ensure the maintenance of audits;
• In collaboration with the administrative manager and coach, ensure, supervision, integration, training, evaluation of the maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation staff, problem resolution;
• Control the presence and respect of the schedules of the maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation team daily;
• Ensure the respect of the work plans of the hygiene and sanitation team;
• Support the hygiene and sanitation team and participate in cleaning and disinfection work such as washing windows, ceilings, and interior walls, emptying trash cans and other containers intended for waste, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and their accessories, cleaning and disinfecting floors and stairs, using industrial vacuums, self-cleaning machines, and steam cleaners;
• Apply high-touch low-touch techniques for the disinfection of surfaces, equipment, and furniture;
• Communicate to the entire maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation team the priorities and objectives to be met;
• In collaboration with the management and coaching team, plan, supervise, and control the quality of maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation services and implement corrective measures as needed;
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and policies;
• Ensure that the maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation team applies the health and safety at work plan provided by the Prevention Mutual;
• Ensure the safety and well-being of users, visitors, and workers;
• In collaboration with the administrative manager, negotiate with suppliers the purchase conditions;
• Manage inventories and orders of maintenance and disinfection products and supplies for the hygiene and sanitation team, laundry detergents for laundries, and cleaning and disinfection products for the food service;
• Receive the merchandise and control the purchase and delivery orders;
• In collaboration with the administrative manager, ensure the preparation of emergency exercises in accordance with the PSI and PMU;
• Collaborate on the continuous improvement program of the quality and safety of services and care in accordance with the Resource's Operational Plan and the requirements of Health Canada;
• Employment Type: Permanent, Fixed-term Contract
• Compensation: $22.60 to $23.75 per hour
