Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeymen Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of building projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and maintaining safety standards across all job sites. Your expertise will contribute to delivering durable, high-quality structures that meet client specifications and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds, while honing your carpentry and construction skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide construction activities
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as concrete finishing, framing, siding installation, and restoration work
• Perform concrete forming and finishing to create durable foundations and structures
• Install siding, perform carpentry tasks, and execute woodworking projects with precision
• Use hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials according to project specifications
• Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around the job site
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all team members

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with a strong understanding of building processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
• Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects is highly desirable
• Knowledge of siding installation techniques and heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship
• Must have your own car to be able to travel to different job sites in the greater Montreal area.

Pay: $45.75-$50.16 per hour

Work Location: On the road
