Roles and Responsibilities

• In the course of your duties, you will be responsible for general mechanics (hydraulics, welding, air brakes, component changes, and maintenance, etc.);
• You will need to daily complete work reports;
• You will be responsible for notifying your supervisor of the date, time, and duration of equipment and heavy trucks being taken out of service;
• You will need to perform any other tasks as required by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or agricultural mechanics, an asset;
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics;
• The P.E.P. card (Preventive Maintenance Program) would be an asset.
