Apprentice Carpenter

Embark on an exciting journey as an Apprentice Carpenter, where you will develop foundational skills in carpentry and construction while contributing to diverse building projects. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals, helping you build a solid career in the construction industry. You will assist with various carpentry tasks, learn industry best practices, and gain valuable knowledge that sets the stage for future growth.

Duties

• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
• Support concrete forming and finishing processes, ensuring structures are built to specifications
• Help install siding, framing, and other exterior or interior woodwork components using hand tools and power tools
• Participate in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces
• Operate heavy equipment and tools safely to perform tasks such as lifting, cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
• Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and material handling to maintain safety standards
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work and equipment operation

Compensation & Perks

• Commercial rates for CCQ
• Work overtime when needed (No banked hours)

Skills

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques
• Knowledge of construction processes including concrete forming, finishing, and welding fundamentals
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience or interest in working with heavy equipment operation and restoration projects
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills

• Must own a car to be able to travel to different job sites.

Pay: $27.22-$30.90 per hour

Work Location: On the road
